It’s that time of year again! As I’m off to a remote Eastern European destination in search of amazing bloggable stories (this year, Montenegro), I won’t be posting for a few weeks. But that’s the perfect time to review and try some of the summer-friendly recipes that I’ve posted in the past twelve months, including the middle of winter:
- If summer means seafood to you, check out my King Crab Rillettes and Apple-Onion Mostarda. You can use a different species of crab too!
- Carnivores, on the other hand, should really try this Triple Reindeer Tartare, Chanterelles, Potatoes and Chives (and you can use venison instead of reindeer). Serve it with Shanga, the Bread Roll from the Great Russian North.
- Although I haven’t started talking about my Balkan trips, I’ve already posted recipes for the Vis Island Pogača and the Croatian Pljeskavica.
- And finish your meal with this delicious and unusual Dalmatian Kremšnita, a Twist on Croatia’s Favorite Dessert!
