… is available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Noble! The above video, produced by the Institute of Culinary Education, gives a taste of things to come.
I introduced Chef Watson on this blog last year, and I’ve posted a few recipes made with its help: a Baltic apple pie created by Michael Laiskonis, a Russian beet salad devised by James Briscione, a Russian sour cherry barbecue sauce and a Russian waste-not burger made by yours truly. The first two of those are in the cookbook, coming out on April 14th. I’m probably a bit biased, but I think this is a truly beautiful book, with about 65 excellent and wildly original recipes, and a few crazy cocktails that are like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
Meanwhile, you can try the app for yourself here — it’s still in beta, and we’ve got a lot of exciting changes in the works!
Lastly, if you happen to be at South by Southwest 2015, I will be participating in a round table on Monday, March 16: How Chef Watson Changed the Way We Prepare Food.
