Following the global success of The Goulash Archipelago, I’m happy to announce that my co-author Valnoir and I have signed a contract with Les Editions Noir sur Blanc to write a new cookbook! I won’t reveal the title yet (feel free to share your guesses in the comments below), but it will cover the countries of the former Yugoslavia, plus Albania. You can expect seafood recipes using every notable fish and cooking method found on the Adriatic coast, articles about wines and liquors, all the classic grilled meats of the Balkans, meals inspired by my visits to Michelin-starred restaurants in Croatia and Slovenia, obscure Albanian dishes, baklava and other oriental pastries, and even a goulash recipe.
Sadly, the cookbook will only be available in French for now, with a release planned for early 2025. Once I have a bit more time, I’ll look for a US publisher too! In the meantime, I won’t be posting as much on the blog, but I’ll be sure to include a few teasers.
